2011 / 2012 Softball Season

Great to see all our Club Senior Softball Teams out there on Saturday despite the weather:

Saturday 8th October

• Titans went down 4 - 2 to Eagles in a very close game, look out Eagles for the next time we meet and we have a full squad on deck.

• Pirates lost to both the Waimea Eagles and Mavericks. Great effort by the new players.

• R & B lost to both Eagles and Royals.

• The Warriors and the Raiders battled it out on the diamond with the Warriors taking bragging rights their first encounter of the season.

Titans and Pirates have a bye next Saturday due to the Masters games.....otherwise game on for the rest - R & B, Warriors and Raiders.

United Softball Club - Softball Family Fun Day

The United Softball Club invites all it's members and those interested in playing softball
over the 'Off Season" to it's family Fun days.

When: the last Saturday of each calendar month (weather permitting)

1:00 - 3:00pm

Where: Saxton Field - Softball Park

Free sausage sizzle and refreshments provided after each game.

Just bring a glove.

Next Game Days Scheduled for:

Saturday 25th June, Saturday 30th July, Saturday 27th August

Pirate Pre Season Ritual

On Saturday 9th October the first pitch will be thrown and the Pirates are looking forward to a new season with 3 new recruits: Pete, Trotter and Mason. The three new boys were initiated into the team last weekend.
Good luck to the Pirates this season!

Training Today

Training today for the senior men at 2:00pm, Saxton's.
R & B women's team are training at 12:00pm, Saxtons.







Softball starts Saturday 2nd October. Uniforms to be issued on sat 25th November. Players are requested to pay 50% deposit of their subs on this date $65.00 and the remainder of subs to be paid the 1st Saturday in November.

Junior Open day at Saxtons - 1:30 - 2:30pm.
